This week is the week of National Assessment Program Literacy and Numeracy (NAPLAN) testing. The assessments are conducted nationally and provide useful information for school and system planning. Individual results from the assessment need to be considered with other assessments such as teacher judgement when making an overall assessment about student progress. Children in years 3, 5, 7 and 9 take part in these assessments. Read more
Our Community Garden is finally starting to take shape and as the cooler weather approaches it is time to take action with planting trees and seedlings. It was great to have such wonderful and committed families attend the last two Busy Bee sessions. Thank you so much! The next Community Garden Busy Bee will be held on Thursday 17 May, from 4.00pm – 6.00pm. We will be looking to plant established trees, dig the in-ground beds, build the entrance archway and hopefully start construction on the boot wall.
